Acceptance

By creating an account or using CardScryer (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. CardScryer is operated from Washington State, USA.

The Service

CardScryer is a personal finance tracker for Magic: The Gathering collections. It lets you log cards, track purchase prices, monitor market values, and record realized sales. Card pricing data is sourced from third-party providers and is provided for informational purposes only.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of pricing data. Do not rely on CardScryer as your sole source of truth for card valuations when making financial decisions.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions and Billing

• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card required to start.
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the Service at scale
• Use automated tools to access the Service in ways that abuse our infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use CardScryer data or features to build a competing service without express written permission

Intellectual Property

CardScryer, its logo, and its software are owned by CardScryer. Magic: The Gathering card names, artwork, and related intellectual property are owned by Wizards of the Coast. CardScryer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If a subscription payment fails, access will be suspended at the end of the current billing period and your data will be retained for 30 days, during which you can resubscribe to restore access. For serious violations, we reserve the right to terminate without notice.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@cardscryer.com. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Pricing data is sourced from third parties and may be inaccurate or delayed.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardScryer's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington State.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
