CardScryer (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates cardscryer.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple.

What We Collect

We only collect what you directly provide:

• Account information: your name and email address, collected via Clerk (our authentication provider) when you sign up.
• Collection data: any information you enter into the app.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

We do not use analytics services, advertising trackers, or any third-party data collection beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the CardScryer service
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To respond to support requests
• To send transactional emails (payment receipts, subscription updates)

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Authentication is handled by Clerk and payments by Stripe. Both have their own privacy policies governing the data they process on our behalf. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data Retention

Your collection data is retained as long as your account exists. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@cardscryer.com.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and delegating authentication and payments to Clerk and Stripe respectively. To report a security concern, contact support@cardscryer.com.

Children

CardScryer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated policy on this page. Continued use of CardScryer after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
